Ahoska
German Shepherd Dog

This was the feisty one along with her sister Greta who was much shyer. Ahsoka took right to the training and quite easily exceeded the minimum expectations for a 5 day residency program. High energy without being truly hyperactive, she started to learn to focus and we could tell that this girl could easily do more advanced training. Here she is doing a 5 minute down stay out in the yard while we snapped pics.

Bella
German Shepherd Dog

Bella is blind in one eye. That presented some interesting training moments for us but in ten days this Sable Shepherd puppy learned it all; and her execution in workouts was just perfect. What handicap? We think it's possible she is the best student we've had yet.

Chance
German Shepherd Dog

What can we say? Chance is our boy. Well trained and happy-go-lucky he is an exceptional dog without being perfect at all (we like dogs with character, not robots). Chance is one of those dogs that is always eager to do the next thing whatever that is. We regularly put him to work as a therapy dog and he is our current demonstration dog, introducing new clients to how our obedience commands work.

Duke
German Shepherd Dog

Rest in Peace Duke. Alert, obedient, noble, playful when appropriate, gentle with children, aloof without being a snob, protective without being mean; we lost this beloved member of our family far too soon.

Dyna
King Shepherd

This, my friends is a female King Shepherd at 5 months old. We were so happy to have the opportunity to work with a member of this breed and Dyna showed just how great they can be. She'll likely grow up to be 100 pounds or so and the males can get up to 150 pounds. For those of you that are fans of the German Shepherd type, temperament, trainability and want a large dog, check out this breed.

Greta
German Shepherd Dog

You think you work hard? Jason and Wendy just had their sixth child to add in with three dogs! Greta had some self esteem issues around her crazy sister Ahsoka and was quite stubborn for a GSD at first. Once she started getting that we were trying to communicate with her, she picked up basic obedience just fine and gained some confidence. We hope to see her and her sister again.

Holly
German Shepherd Dog

Holly is a great looking young female living with a very active family. She had some issues with hyperactivity and submissive urination but did well with obedience training and these problems really started to fall in line. With continued emphasis on work and structured play as she matures, she will gain confidence, learn to be more focused and be a wonderful dog. Take charge Jim and Colleen!

Mia
German Shepherd Dog

A typical super smart German Shepherd, Mia has a streak of hyperactivity in her that we started working on right away. Obedience training progressed very quickly as it does with most young dogs and by the end of the week we knew that the tools were in place for her to learn that calm and focus is much more comfortable than bouncing off the walls. With a little more maturity she is going to be a great family dog.

Rosie
German Shepherd Dog

How lucky are we that we get to work with so many great young dogs. Rosie is a young high energy puppy and she had no problem learning virtually every command we could get to in ten days. The real question is whether she'll be able to keep up with Noah, Erika and all those kids at home! We can't wait to see Rosie again.

Rocky
German Shepherd Dog

Wild and crazy guys! Dawn has her hands full with her husband, her boys and Rocky. Hyperactive dogs need to learn to focus and slow down and that will be tough in their environment, but Rocky showed that he is smart and learned obedience well. Putting it to work as he matures will take time but the tools are in place. We just know that Dawn can do it...take charge girl.
