K-9 Motivation specializes in Obedience Training, Behavior Modification, Service and Skilled Companion Training, boarding and care for a wide variety of clients and their dogs.  We are proud and grateful to work with so many dogs! From Herding Dogs to Hounds, Chihuahuas to Great Danes and everything in between, our Best Friends insure that life is never dull.  In our minds it is true that a house isn’t a home without a dog.

And yet for those in need of assistance, emotional support, alerts or interventions, performing daily tasks in life can be greatly enhanced by the presence of dogs that are more than just companions. For that need, K-9 Motivation announces a prime mission:

To develop qualified Service Dogs for public access to assist individuals with disabilities according to the American with Disabilities Act of 1990.

We train and develop Therapy Dogs, Facility Dogs, Skilled Companion Dogs for those individuals looking for canine assistance without needing public access.  In addition, K-9 Motivation provides programs to educate the community at large regarding the requirements and use of Service and Therapy Dogs in society.

K-9 Motivation is a registered Charitable Organization with the State of Illinois (CO#30046822). We have applied for our tax-exempt status approval from the State of Illinois as well as the Internal Revenue Service.

As we transition into our principal roles and programs, we do not intend to forget those who have supported our work since the beginning.  We will continue to provide the very best in training, problem solving and care for your dogs.  Of course, our best hope is to partner with you in the future as we grow into this exciting next chapter.
